The F Thing

On the second week of school for the new term April 2018, we found out that we won the competition for an Indonesian company known as TheFThing, the competition revolved around social media and marketing. This is a good opportunity for us to build our portfolio and gain experiences from the tasks.

Team Names & Instagram:

Kim Minwoo @i_am_minwoo

Stephanie Steven @stephaniesteven

Maria Angelica Cruz @micatcruz

Bianca Quiroz @bbquiroz

Our ideas were plenty, but most in regards to Coachella, Indonesian influencers who were going to Coachella and social media.

We won the competition as our ideas were selected and do-able. We get to write articles in regards to Singapore's fashion, lifestyle, and coachella. On top of that, we created "vlogs" also known as blogging but as a form of a video, and these vlogs are about fashion and lifestyle, in that case we chose to vlog Lau Pa Sat (the oldest food market in Singapore and its in the middle of the city) as well as Goodluck Bunch

Last but not least, we curated a Video Campaign for theFThing summer collection which is now online for consumers to shop!

My Beauty Article for Letter F

My original title was "Singaporean beauty brands that you need to know!" however, they've changed it to "Have You Met These Singaporean Beauty Brands on the Rise?" I believe my title is much more simpler and straight forward, I was not informed by them but it is now published, nothing much I can do about it.

To conclude, the journey with the Fthing has been very worthwhile and it thought me alot in regards to working with various people with different skills that go hand in hand with my skills. On top of that, I get to communicate and negotiate with the company numerous times in regards to the tasks we have to do, to make sure both sides understands each other with no transparency. I really enjoyed doing the tasks, however it was time consuming due to the various unexpected tasks that were added and given to us, which was the reason why I had to negotiate with them personally. Nonetheless, in my opinion, it was a good opportunity to practice our skills as well as adding a real life project into my portfolio.
