Research Team - EcoBank 2018

For FutureProof Personal Development Planning course this term, we are assigned to raise awareness for the fashion 3R dossier,

We were divided into teams, and in this case I am in the Research Team with 6 other pupils to help research about Singapore's ecological footprint and execute it on EcoBank's Instagram caption.

It is important for us and the next generation to understand more about 3R, especially in the fashion industry where more and more millennials would purchase clothes from fast fashion brands by impulse.

Please spread the awareness because new fashion products are now readily available for everyone in just a few days, but where would your old fashion items go?

Donations? (In Singapore, the charity drive for old clothes are receiving more than they could give out for donations, unless we can find another solution to this problem)

To conclude, there are pros and cons when it comes to the existence of fast fashion and impulse purchase. Yes as a marketer, profit of the company matters but what about CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)? Some companies do pay attention to CSR however, there are also some companies that are all talk but no action.
