Fitting Day

Today was a lot of work,

1. Fittings from 9:20AM to 7:30PM

2. Getting model sequence's done and pasting the model's comp cards on brown paper

3. Each Model's look boards for 3 collections

Pros:

-Some of helping hands without me asking for help

-Started early

-Some models are on time

-No anxiety attacks

-Focused on getting the job done

Cons:

-Most help when asked

-Finalized everything by 9PM

-Some models are late

-Had to change 2 models (Because 1 decided not to show up and 1 wants to come in when the event starts on the 15th, as well as not join the rehearsals)

-Negative vibes because of the 2 unprofessional models that I have to replace

-Exhausted

What did I learn?

-Can't depend on any one

-You have to deal with different kinds of people (the good, the bad and the miserable)

-Some models can have two different jobs on the same day illegally, without the agency knowing

-I have low tolerance for laziness

-I dislike asking for help twice

-I observe people's helpfulness (where I choose to depend on certain people only)

-I tend to take things in my own hands if I cant depend on any one else

(But all in all, I remain calm no matter what happened today and did my job with the help of some styling team members)

MODEL SEQUENCE

Model sequence was confirmed with Fashion Show leader Mica Cruz, and I proceed with taking model's comp cards and sticking in on to brown paper *Shown Below

MODEL LOOKS ACCORDING TO MODEL'S SEQUENCE

#1-6

Started making these look boards since 9:20AM till 9PM, it took a while for us to take pictures during RCHE fittings but for Regina's fittings I printed the pictures earlier as she gave me all of her collection pictures beforehand which made life easier. But for Amos, we have to do fittings on the 15th, but I have collection pictures printed and pasted on the look boards according to model's sequence.

MODEL LOOKS ACCORDING TO MODEL'S SEQUENCE

#7-10

Overall, I am glad that I experienced this as a styling leader, giving out tasks was not easy as some people don't execute according to deadline or they give up easily. I had to take most things into my own hands especially for the 5 months period before the event. However, I'm lucky to have experience working with Regina Lukito, Amos Ananda and all 10 RCHE Undergraduates because they are very friendly people, kind and great to work/communicate with.

What a day I must say, mentally and physically tired.
